Pearson has released new questions more frequently than the last year, and we suppose these new questions were popped up on 15th April, 3rd July, and 9th September 2019. In another words, preparing PTE test with old PTE question bank may not be helpful now, so that we have collected all those new PTE real exam questions from each section and added on our “All in One PTE Question Bank“.
Candidates who practiced with PTE Academic question bank often find many of the same questions on the real exam and thus score higher. Basically, Read Aloud, Retell Lecture, Summarize Written Text, Summarize Spoken Text, and Write from dictation sessions are the most significant parts for getting high score in PTE Academic test. The new questions have been constantly added since April, especially for the Retell Lecture, Summarize Spoken Text, and Write from Dictation sections. There are 20% to 30% old questions each change and there are some amounts of makeup.
Speaking
Read Aloud
The first task in the PTE Test is Read Aloud. Do not be surprised if you see much of the difficult words as Pearson has added new questions with few difficult words. You can practice reading aloud different kind of academic texts and learn the pronunciation of difficult words used in the academic context.
Describe Image
As far as Describe Image is concerned, PTE Bank Team found that periodically Pearson keeps introducing more pictures and flow chart questions. For the questions of this task type, you need to focus on your Oral Fluency. We highly recommend you practice all types of describe image questions such as pie chart, bar chart, flow chart, pictures, line chart etc.
Retell Lecture
Recently, many new questions have been added to Retell Lecture sessions. It is important to pay attention to the audio. Our team has collected most of audio files for the frequently asked questions since the content score here is significantly important to your listening score.
Writing
Summarize Written Text
Talking about the “Summarize Written Text”, it is integrated with reading and writing score. In March 2018, the question bank for the Summarize Written Text was significantly changed, after that PTE keeps constantly adding new questions to this session. The good news is that we have collected all of these new questions, 100% occurrence from real question pool, with 79+ model answers.
Write Essay
Essay topics may keep relatively stable, because the fundamental ideas are often from society, environment and life style. And these topics usually ask your opinion (Agree/Disagree). You can still use a template to complete this session, which contains complex words and sentence structure. For this sake, our team built a Band 9 PTE Bank Essay Template based on the latest PTE score guide.
Reading
Fill in the Blanks
In this module a lot of new questions have been added since July 2019. The difficulty of this session is that you need to know basics of English language and its usage. Vocabulary and Grammar are at the heart of it.
For the candidates who is impossible to devote enough time and energy in their study, we recommend our essential “Predicted Question File“ which includes all frequent asked questions for the recent PTE exam.
Listening
Summarize Spoken Text
The first task type in listening session is “Summarize Spoken Text” which has seen the new questions’ addition since May 2019. Content is significant in this task also! If your content is not perfect, your content score will decrease, you will lose marks in listening and writing. The best tip for this session is practicing with real exam questions and model answers, ensure you take note with all of key words.
Write from Dictation
“Write from Dictation” is the session which has the most new questions introduced, and that the question bank changes from time to time. This task is integrated with writing score, so that getting more scores in this session is critically important. However, the major thing that has been noted is that the audio speed is fast and the time is not enough. Therefore, practice with question bank, get familiar with these contents and words can help you to improve scores. Even if Pearson changes the questions, they can’t change the structure and format of the questions. You will always find similar questions in the exam.
